- The minor in Physics requires a minimum of 30 credits, including 15 upper-division credits.
- Students have two options of core requirements from which to choose, as well as upper-division core requirements.
- Electives include courses such as PHY 3341 Quantum Mechanics, ME 3400 Dynamics, and PHY 4520 Preparing to Teach.
Labs and equipment
A variety of laboratory equipment is available to SPU students to support coursework and independent study activities. Otto Miller Hall, home to the Physics Department, contains dedicated teaching laboratories, upper-division research space and upper-division laboratory facilities.
